Featured artist
Ritók Lajos
Graphic artist · Painter · Sculptor
View selected work at ritokart.comRitók Lajos was born in Oradea in 1968 and lives and works in Debrecen. A Hungarian graphic artist, painter and sculptor, his practice is rooted in realism and in the human character, emotion and fate.
Portraiture is central to his work. Across charcoal portraits, landscapes, still lifes, sculpture and figurative work, he returns to the expressive potential of the human face and figure.
Charcoal and walnut stain are characteristic techniques in a body of work that has been exhibited across Europe and beyond.
